mr. & mrs. prout {married}

As 2009 came to a close, I had the fortunate opportunity to send my last weekend with Andy & Emilie as they said their vows together and forever promised their love to one another! You may remember the two of them from their Detroit engagement session in November. The two of them are so incredibly intelligent and genuine and a delight to be around! They intricately planned their wedding while the both of them were on holiday break from their respective graduate studies. I think the timing couldn't have been more perfect! With all the glowy Christmas decorations inside, and the dusting of snow outside, it was a beautifiul setting for a wedding!

The ceremony was held at Cana Lutheran Church in Berkley, MI. When I arrived at the church, the girls were excitedly getting ready for the big day! Emilie had a huge smile on her face that was hard to wipe away - I knew she was ready to get married! After the ceremony, we headed to downtown Birmingham for some moonlit portraits of the newlyweds. The reception was at the Iroqouis Club in Bloomfield Hills, MI - a venue that I would HIGHLY recommend! All-in-all it was a really great wedding to finish out 2009!

Andy & Emilie... thank-you so much for allowing me to be apart of your wedding celebration! It was a perfectly beautiful day and I hope these photos let you treasure all the special moments! Enjoy the preview!

An emotional moment with Mom right after she saw Emilie in the dress for the first time...

This blue-eyed beauty is Emilie's niece and was the flower girl for the wedding. She's in a camera-shy phase, but I managed to sneak a few of her!

Love this pic of the ladies!

Mmmmm....  bling bling!

Cruising down Woodward Avenue!

They always seem like they are having such a fun time with each other!!

A few room shots... seriously, look how great that room is!

First dance... love it!

I love to catch the couple's parents dancing... and looking just as in love as the newlyweds!

And a few final portraits to close out the evening!
