madison {3 years old}

One thing that is so fun about children sessions is having the chance to learn about their personality.  It's amazing that even at a young age, you can see their little personality start to form!

Last week, I had the opportunity to do a second session with Madison. I can't believe it's already been a year since I shot her 2-year-old pictures! But it was a delight to spend the afternoon with Madison again and get to know her a little more. She is such a sweet little girl! sometimes she is shy, sometimes she is serious, but when she warms up, she has a beautiful, happy smile! Check it out for yourself!

analiese {2 months!}

A new baby. A precious little girl. What a joy it is to witness parents interact with and love their new child! Last week, I had the chance to spend the morning with Analiese and her parents for Analiese's first official photo shoot. I was so excited for the session because I had been following the family's blog for a little bit. By keeping up with the blog for just a few weeks, I was able to get a sense of their style, their lives and the excitement that they shared for this new parenthood role. I couldn't wait to meet them!

Analiese did a phenomenal job as my little model. She is such a beautiful little baby and I was honored to capture these special moments for the family! Thanks Ross & Heather for allowing me to get to know you guys a little bit and snap some shots of Analiese! I hope you love the results!

a quick post: patrick & beth

This past Saturday, I had the joy of attending my cousin's baby shower. Her and her husband are expecting their first (a boy!) this coming June and we are so excited for them! Patrick & Beth live in South Carolina, so its always a joy when we can spend time with them. Before they headed back home, I told them they needed a few "belly" pictures because this is such a special time in their lives! Here are just a couple from our 5 minute session...

I'm back!

WOW. It has been way too long since I last posted. Pardon my absence, but I'll be honest, it has been a good little break as I prepare for the wedding season that will be starting very soon! Hopefully I'll make up for it with all these fun images I have to share now and in the next few days!

I do have some news to share! Since I've been gone, we've had another addition welcomed into our lives! My newest nephew, Isaac Jeff was born on February 25th, 5 weeks before his due date. He was a healthy weight, but doctors were a little concerned with his lung development. After spending a few extra days in the hospital, they allowed him to go home. This past weekend, I had the chance to spend some quality time with him. It's hard to believe that in these pictures, he is one month old and just reaching his scheduled due date!

While I was taking some shots of Isaac, one of his big sisters, Julie was around and wanted her chance in front of the camera, too... how could I resist??

I also had the joy of spending time with these two little girls this past weekend...
